Influenster: L'Oreal Voluminous Vox Box!

Last month I received another AMAZING voxbox in the mail from Influenster! This time it was filled with tons of makeup from L'Oreal! All the products were sent to me for free for testing purposes but all opinions are my own. First off the box included an eye lash primer, which was scary looking at first because it makes your lashes white, but it really does help make your lashes appear longer and fuller! Add the Voluminous mascara on top and BOOM! Your lashes will look so fabulous! There was also two eye shadows a creamy white called "Paris Beach" and a mocha color called "Pain Au Chocolat" both are so beautiful worn together. Add on the Infallible eyeliner to define your eyes, and also the brow stylist prep & shape kit helps to add that special touch. LOVED all the products in this voxbox and will definitely be purchasing these products in the future! Lastly the packaging on this collection is so pretty, love the gold accents!

Influenster: #GLAMvoxbox!

In my latest Influenster VoxBox I received the #GLAMvoxbox with a good variety of beauty products for free to test out. This box included:

-Gillette Venus  embrace razors
-Gillette Venus Olay Violet shave cream
-Q-Tips Precision tips
-Not Your Mothers Clean Freak dry shampoo
-Shea Moisture facial scrubs & mask
-CuteX nail polish remover pads

Starting off with the Gillette Venus embrace razors these razors are great when shaving your legs, it has five blades on it and it glides smoothy across the skin. No nicks or cuts occurred when using this product, and I will definitely be buying these!

Next is the Gillette Venus Olay violet shave cream, this has always been my go to shave cream but this was my first time trying the violet scented version. It works just as well as the other scents, but I think I will be sticking with the Gillette Venus Olay vanilla scent instead. It was nice to try out a new scent though!

 Q-Tips precision tips are great for touching up nail polish or using them for nail art! I love how it has pointy ends to get into hard to reach spots on your nails. These are also great for using with your makeup.

Not Your Mothers Clean Freak refreshing dry shampoo is an amazing product to use on second or even third day hair. This dry shampoo leaves a nice refreshing scent in your hair and takes away grease and oil from not washing.

SheaMoisture was a totally new product to me but I'm always ready to try out a new face mask/ scrub! These scrubs/mask help your face feel clean and refreshed!

And now for my favorite product in this voxbox! The CuteX nail polish remover pads smell lemony instead of that nasty nail polish remover scent that brands usually have. You can take off all ten fingers of nail polish with just one pad! It's easy to use and sealed nicely so that you can pop one in your purse or bring with on vacation. I will definitely be buying more of these!

Covergirl VoxBox! #Plumpify #OhSugar

Recently I received the Covergirl VoxBox and a prize from Sally Hansen in the mail from Influenster! In the Covergirl VoxBox was the Plumpify mascara which has a nice shaped brush and helps make it appear as if I have even longer lashes! The next item was the Oh Sugar! lip balm in the shade Sprinkle. This is a nice lip balm that the more you apply it, the more vibrant the color will look. It's the perfect color for this Winter season and is just the right amount of red, not too bright. Lastly, is the prize from Sally Hansen which was a nail polish in a pretty violet color which will be perfect for the Spring and Summer! I'm very satisfied with these to boxes and love getting to review these products.

Influenster Review: Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs

A few weeks ago I received a Voxbox from Influenster to test out and review the new Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs leg makeup. You just apply it to your legs and it instantly gives them a little nice Summer glow. It's perfect to cover up bruises that you may have and is easy to apply. The only con is that this product does have a tiny bit of shimmer to it. This product can be found in the Sally Hansen section at your local retailer. Overall, I would say that I would purchase this product if I'm looking for a quick and easy tan without the sun!

Review: OREO Cookies & Creme flavored

Decided to try these limited edition cookies & creme flavored OREOs because anything ice cream flavored has to be good. They simply taste just like the original Oreo except the creme isn't as smooth and has crushed up cookie mixed in. I would say buy them if you want to try something new, or just stick to the original Oreos which are pretty much the same thing.

Lilly for Target Haul!

A few weeks ago the Lilly Pulitzer line hit Target stores so of course I had to go check it out! My mom and I went before Target opened and waited in a long line for the store to open. All the Lilly items throughout the store could be spotted by looking for the flamingo signs they had hanging from the ceiling. Most of the items that I had on my list sold out within minutes, but we did manage to find some other cute stuff!

 We found this headband in the print "My Fans", I think it will be a fun accessory to wear this summer with a white t-shirt and some cute shorts.

An item that was on my list was these Lilly Pulitzer creaseless hair ties that have an adorable pineapple charm and one is in the print "Nosie Posey".

Another item on our list was these cute nail files in the print "Nosie Posey". You can never have too many nail files, especially when you enjoy doing nail art as much as I do! 














And last, but certainly not least was this Lilly Pulitzer outdoor blanket. This blanket is nice to lay across a chair or the end of a bed and has pretty gold glitter stripes and of course tassels which are my favorite!

Influenster: XOVoxBox!

Today, after several days of anticipation I finally received my XOVoxBox in the mail from Influenster! This is my third voxbox and I'm excited to test out all the goodies inside. In this post I will tell you what was in the box, stay tuned for new posts in the near future for my thoughts on these products!

First of all included in the XOVoxBox was the Colgate Optic White Express White Toothpaste which I can't wait to see how well it will help whiten my teeth. Along with the Colgate Optic White Toothbrush with a built-in whitening pen valued at $14.99.

 Next, is the John Frieda Frizz Ease Beyond Smooth Collection which includes shampoo, conditioner, and primer. My hair can be frizzy at times so this will be a great opportunity to try and see if these products can really tame the frizz!

There was also four inserts with offers from Adore Me, ebay, John Frieda, and Lands End.

Great for dry Winter skin is the Skinfix Hand Repair Cream $10. This product seems like it will be a big help during these cold, dry days we've been having lately.

Lastly, is the Tide Pods plus Febreze which will be interesting to see what scent they leave after doing the laundry.

Influenster: #VSSportBra VoxBox!

   I received a package in the mail with some goodies to test out for Victoria's Secret Sport & Influenster! In the box was a VS Incredible Sports Bra and a pair of workout pants. The top is a really pretty floral pattern and I found it to give good support while working out. The bottoms are really comfortable and are going to be great to work out in, in the Fall and Winter. I also received some 25% off coupons to share with my friends.

Overall, I really enjoy these products and would repurchase them if the prices were a little cheaper. It's hard to spend about $50 a piece on workout gear when you're a college student. Other than that I really love the Victoria's Secret Sport brand and would highly recommend it! (I received these products free for testing purposes from Victoria's Secret & Influenster)

August 2014: PinchMe Box

Last month I received my 2nd PinchMe box in the mail! PinchMe.com is a website where  you can request different samples  about once every month . Once you receive the samples you  have to try  them out and they give you a time limit for when you should have the short survey completed by.

The first sample in this box was the TOM'S long lasting lavender scented deodorant. I wasn't sure if I would like this product because I usually would buy Secret brand and also I'm not very fond of lavender scented things. It really surprised me how well this deodorant works and the smell actually is better than I expected.

I also received a bottle of Sinful Colors nail polish in the color "Bordeaux" it's a mix between burgundy and burnt orange which is perfect for the Fall. I really like this brand of nail polish, not only is their price cheaper than most brands, but also the quality of the nail polish is good and long-lasting.

 

 Another sample in this box was the Gevalia Traditional Roast Ground Coffee. This was pretty good tasting, coming from someone who only buys Caribou or Starbucks, it looks like I have a new brand to purchase.

In the box was also some samples from Garnier and a coupon for a free frozen meal from buenSABOR.

Review: Chips Ahoy! Oreo Creme filled chewy cookies

I decided to try the Chips Ahoy! OREO Creme filled chewy cookies recently to see how good they were. Let me just say these cookies are very sweet, it's like a chocolate chip cookie with oreo icing in the middle. I didn't really care for them, they are too sweet and not as enjoyable as your average chocolate chip cookie. So if you're in for a sweet treat then go ahead and try it, as for me I probably will not be repurchasing this flavor again.

Review: International Delight Heath Bar Coffee Creamer

I tried this coffee creamer in Heath bar flavor thinking it would taste like the delicious toffee flavored candy bars, but it surprisingly only tastes like vanilla. It was still really sweet & I will probably repurchase it again sometime. 

Jade Journey Key Fob!

  I decided it was time to change up my key fob a bit so I went straight to etsy to find the perfect one. Since it's Summertime I wanted to get one that had an anchor on it. I found this one on etsy by the seller, Jade Journey, it was $12.00 plus about $3 in shipping fees. I love how this key fob has a longer wristlet length and comes in a variety of colors! I recommend heading on over to www.etsy.com/shop/jadejourney to get your monogrammed key fobs!

Influenster: Surf's Up Vox Box!

Recently I received a package in the mail from a site called Influenster, where you can sign up and possibly be chosen to review a variety of products for free based on surveys you fill out & reviews you leave on other products. This is my 1st Vox Box from Influenster & so far I am loving this website! Now, let me show you what came in the Surf's Up Vox Box: (I received these product complimentary for testing and review purposes from Influenster.)

First off I received a Sinful Colors Professional nail polish in the color "Firefly" it regularly retails for $1.99 in most convenice stores. The formula is formaldehyde, toluene, & DBP free & is never animal tested. The color of this nail polish is a vibrant yellow with a little bit of shimmer mixed in. I'm not very into yellow nail polish but I do like using it for nail art for flowers, polka dots, etc.

Second, I received the First Aid Shot Therapy "FAST" which retails for $2.99. I have not used this product yet, but it is an FDA compliant liquid pain relief drinkable shot that is used to quickly relieve headaches, sore muscles, back pain, & more.

 Another product in the Surf's Up Vox Box was the Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration After Sun lotion. This product goes for $2.99 for a 2oz bottle. It has ribbons of gel & lotion to leave skin feeling luxurious & refreshed for 24 hours. This lotion smells really good, it's scent is Coconut Papaya! I can't wait to use this lotion after a day out in the sun!

 The last actual product in the box was the COVERGIRL Bombshell Curvaceous by Lashblast Mascara which is sold for around $9.49-11.99 at most stores. This mascara features the Bombshell Boost System that has two brushes & formulas for volume, curl, & dramatic lashes. The first brush loads on volume, thickens, & curls lashes. The second brush is a dark, intensifying topcoat that seals the look. This mascara works like a waterproof formula & lasts along time! I'm really excited about using this mascara, it's been on my things to buy list for a long time now & I can't wait to open it!

The last two items in the Surf's Up Vox Box were two coupons for Jamba Juice Smoothie Kits which usually are $2.99-3.49, the coupons I got were for one free kit & $1.00 off another kit. These smoothie kits just need you to add juice & blend! The Jamba Juice smoothies are loaded with delicious fruits & yogurts. They even had fat-free or gluten-free smoothie kits which contain a healthy antioxidant boost, a full serving of fruit, & Vitamin C. Can't wait to try these out & will update this post later to let you guys know what I think!
