DIY: Lilly Pulitzer "First Impressions" Canvas!

Today, I decided to finally paint the Lilly Pulitzer pattern "First Impressions" on a canvas! I've been wanting to do this for a while now and finally had time to get to it. I know there are several tutorials already out there for this print, but I thought it would be fun to create one of my own.

The supplies you will need:
- a canvas
-light pink paint
-medium pink paint
-dark pink paint
-lime green paint
-white paint
-minty turquoise paint
-small paint brushes

Step 1: Lightly draw the shape of the flowers onto the canvas with a pencil. It helps to draw arch/ "C" shapes to create the look of a flower.
Step 2: Using the lightest shade of pink and a smaller brush go over the lines you drew in pencil creating the arch/"C" shapes again.
Step 3: Take the medium pink color and fill in more of the white areas inside the flower with this pink.
Step 4: Using the darkest shade of pink continue filling in the flower with arch/"C" shapes leaving a few white spaces in between.
Step 5: Now onto the leaves, use a lime green paint to create small areas of green to resemble the leaves. You can also go back over it with a darker green to add more contrast, I only used the lime green.

Step 6: Fill in the leftover white spaces on the canvas with a minty turquoise colored paint. And you're done!
